Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Surveyor to manage cost control, value engineering, and quality assurance on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction materials, cost estimation, and quality standards to ensure project budgets and standards are maintained effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost analysis and estimation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure all construction materials and practices meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Perform regular inspections on materials and work completed to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities for cost control.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective resource management.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend adjustments to reduce project costs without compromising quality.
- Analyze and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity or Quality Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
