Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of engineering principles, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing construction projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee project designs, ensure technical accuracy, and guide junior engineers, helping drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance projects, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and supervisors on-site.
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to address challenges.
- Oversee quality control procedures to maintain high standards in all project phases.
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and project updates for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior engineering role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- PE or other relevant certification is a plus.
